Inspiring girls: Grit and resilience!
Today, on Nov 14, 2025 the English department hosted an amazing event organized by Inspiring girls - a global charity dedicated to expanding girls' career ambitions and breaking gender stereotypes.
A speaker from the charity led a dynamic workshop talking to the students about their life paths and career choices.
The event was conducted in English which allowed the participants to learn new vocabulary related to the topic.
16 role models from different backgrounds and careers worked closely with the students and engaged in meaningful dialogues using English as a medium of communication giving them new perspectives and introducing important qualities critical for long-term goal planning.
Our students had various opportunities to interact with different role models and to share a bit more about their personal lives and everyday struggles they face at school or at home. At the same time, the role models shared their personal stories and experiences with the girls discussing both their challenges and triumphs.
This informal setting boosted the confidence of the students in using English and helped them feel more comfortable having conversations with foreigners.
Our students are now motivated to join more career fairs and career events like this one. And, of course, they won’t be shy to speak English with other people.
Thank you Inspiring girls for inspiring our girls!
