Putting tremendous effort into analysing each round’s motion, forming the team’s case, main arguments supported by statistics, research data and real-life examples all over the world, the English Debate Team has successfully secured two rounds of victories, advancing to the Regional Final of the first term this school year (2023-24).

Aside from trying hard to prepare for the matches in advance, the debaters have also worked on listening to and capturing the key points as well as rebuttals said by the other side to respond and rebut more precisely and persuasively. All the strenuous effort has paid off, not only improving their debating skills but also enhancing the level of their English proficiency simultaneously.
