Interview with Chairlady of Student Association

Our Student Association has existed for 53 years. Each year, students elect a new chairlady. This year the chairlady is Caspter Man Shuk Kwan from 6A. How much do you know about her? Why did she run for the post?

Here¡¦s what she told us during an interview.

Q: Why did you want to be the chairlady of the Student Association?
A: Well, I wanted to stand up for our students¡¦ rights and interests, safeguard their welfare and set up some activities for our students to participate in. By so doing, I hoped to cultivate a sense of belonging to our school.
Q: You have been in the post for several months. What have you gained and what¡¦s your aspiration for the future?
A: Hmm¡KI¡¦ve gained experience as a leader and have improved my leadership skills as well, and my aspiration is to try my best to do my job well.
Q: Have you had any difficulties so far?
A: Yes, members of our Executive Committee do not understand each other very well because most of us are from different forms and classes. It takes time to get people together when there is work to be done.
Q: Are you satisfied with your performance?
A: Actually, I think there¡¦re still several things we should pay more attention to. For example, we need to have better communication within the Executive Committee.
